HUDSONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: 4
The JV girls water polo team continued their eight-game winning streak with 12-4 victory over Hudsonville. The team gave up two early goals to the Eagle’s hole set but buckled down to take away Hudsonville’s primary option.
The team had a balanced offensive attack with Rylee Fowler and Kelsy Toth scoring four goals each. Annika DeYoung and Chelsea Englesman each added two. Rylee also led the team in assists with four while Kelsy had five steals. Ainsley Barense and Hannah Stoke played great in their backup goalie roles each making two saves.
The team plays their Riley Street rivals, West Ottawa on Thursday.
