Zeeland East defeated Wyoming 4-1 on Tuesday.
The Chix got things started in the first inning when Kirsten Piatek doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
Anna Jipping got the win for Zeeland East. She allowed two hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out four and walking zero. Megan Greene threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.
The Chix totaled eight hits. Romelia Elizardo and Kirsten Piatek each had multiple hits for Zeeland East. Elizardo went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Chix in hits.
