EAST KENTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL: 3
The JV water polo team returned from Spring Break with an impressive 8-7 win over East Kentwood. The team started fast and earned a 3-0 lead in the first quarter. The falcons battled back to tie the game at six goals each, but Zeeland was able to pull ahead late in the third quarter and held the lead for the rest of the game.
Katelyn Inman led the team in goals scoring six points. Rylee Brown and Paula Vasquez played great defense notching three steals each. Rayanna Dubois had a great game in the cage with four saves including a huge stop to seal the game late in the fourth quarter.
The team plays at Forest Hills on Thursday at 6:00 PM.
