Golf Takes Third at Crestview

The Girls Varsity Golf team placed third at Crestview, September 17 at 4pm. The team ended with a total of 191 points with 3 scores in the 40’s. It was a good beautiful sunny day out with very little wind during the match.
The Girls worked confidently to get 3rd place. Coach Carla Stowie stated “I think we had a good day today. For the first time this year, we had 3 scores in the 40’s. We're trying to get four.” Jr. Ximena Knittle scored the best with a total score of 46. “ I had a lot of great putts and long drives. My favorite hole was hole 2,” Mentioned Ximena. She also made a 80 yard chip onto the green.
