Zeeland Swim and Dive Falls to Jenison

On September 30 the Girls Varsity Swim and Dive team faced off against the Wildcats of Jenison. The girls brought tough competition for the Wildcats, winning a number of events. Despite the efforts of the team, the Wildcats managed to come away with the victory, winning 103 to 82. When asked about the meet, Coach Scheerhorn said, “We competed hard, back to back meets with Jenison this week and East Grand Rapids last week they are two top tier teams. Competing hard and falling a little short is still is a success in my eyes, especially when we are swimming so tired.”
Natalie Lauritzen said,“ It was a really good meet, we all did very well, and we were very encouraging to each other the whole way through.”
