Congratulations to Martin Landes of Zeeland East Wrestling who earned the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) in cooperation with long-time partner the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Scholar All-American Award which recognizes wrestlers who have demonstrated excellence in the classroom. The awards honor “...our nation’s student-athletes who go out of their way to achieve excellence in the wrestling room, the classroom, and their communities” said Mike Moyer, NWCA Executive Director. Marty has maintained a 4.0 cumulative GPA in the classroom in addition to his accomplishments on the wrestling mat which included OK Green Conference Champion, two time regional Qualifier, and 2020 State Qualifier.
