Coverage Hours
Monday – Friday: 2:40 PM – 7:00 PM
Saturday: Home event coverage only
Sunday: Closed

Katie Putnam is a nationally certified, state licensed athletic trainer. Employed through Spectrum Health, she has been the head athletic trainer at Zeeland East High School since 2021.
After high school, Katie completed her undergraduate studies at Grand Valley State University, majoring in Athletic Training. During her time at Grand Valley, she worked with multiple varsity teams, as well as with local high schools and other area university athletic programs.
Katie continued her athletic training doing an internship with Cornell College in Iowa before attending Western Illinois University to earn a master's of science degree in Kinesiology while working as a graduate assistant for Knox College.
She also serve as a preceptor for the Grand Valley State University Athletic Training Program.
