In the 2^nd game of the double header, the Chix won 11-4 in a rain shortened 4 inning game.  The Chix jumped on Holland with 10 runs in the first inning on 7 hits, 2 walks and a hit batter.  Keenan Faber collected 2 hits, scored 2 runs and knocked in a run in the first inning.   Luke Gruppen plated 4 runs on 2 hits in the first inning, which included a bases clearing double.  Nathan Claerbaut laced a 2 run triple in the 1^st inning as well.  Sam Cochran and Dominic Schuitema each reached base twice and scored 2 runs in the game.

This was more than enough support for starting pitcher Drew Wyckoff, who picked up the win.  Wyckoff pitched 3 innings, allowing just 3 hits and 2 earned runs, while striking out 3.  Sam Kikstra relieved Wyckoff and pitched the 4^th inning for the Chix. 

The Chix travel to West Ottawa for a single game on Friday and to Grandville Saturday for a tournament, before returning home on Monday to play Holland Christian.
