FRUITPORT HIGH SCHOOL: 15
The Boys varsity bowling team were taken on a bit of a roller coaster ride Wednesday night by the lane conditions at Northway Bowling Center. The team struggled to find their groove all night but managed to take the second of two Baker games and total pin fall giving the team a 6-4 edge going into individual play. In the opening match Zeeland continued to struggle albeit less than the men from Fruitport. Nick Woodman bowled a team high of 180. Grant Bush and Isaiah Reyes bowled a 155 and 151 respectively. Going into the second game of individual play Zeeland needed only 3 points to seal the deal to victory but unfortunately came up short to a Fruitport team that was starting to hit their stride on the tricky lane conditions. In the end Zeeland and Fruitport tied with 15 points a piece.
