At the Winding Creek jamboree hosted by Zeeland East, the Chix made due with the cooler and windier weather. The team finished 5th carding a score of 218 falling just behind the Hamilton Hawkeyes.
Coach Carla Stowie committed, “We struggled a little bit today, but there were some highlights.” Soph. Lucy Ehinger hit her first birdie of the year on hole 7. Jr. Natalie Bailey had a pretty good day as well. She explained, “I had a lot of fun and played really well on the par threes.”
Ximena Knittel led the Chix with a 51, Taya Schanski a 54, Lucy Ehringer a 55, and Natalie Bailey carded a 58.
