Zeeland East Wrestling crossed the path this week to take on Zeeland West and Grand Rapids Union in an exciting night of dual competition. The Chix delivered two dominant performances, defeating the Dux 51-21 and rolling past GR Union 62-12.
The highlight of the night came from senior Gavin Drenten, who made program history by becoming the all-time leader in career wins. With an impressive overall record of 165-20—and more season still ahead—Gavin continues to solidify his legacy as one of Zeeland East’s all-time greats. The Chix showcased their strength and depth, as they have one last conference quad of the season.
