In game 2 of the Saturday double header, Zeeland East defeated visiting Whitehall by a score of 17-9. The Chix tallied 18 hits in the game to slug their way to victory. Layden Byker, Cobe Huizenga, Kainan Bayn and Adam Berghorst each had 3 hits in the game. Freshman Ethan Houghtaling and Tanner Tresemer each chipped in with 2 hits and an RBI.
Kainan Bayn records the win on the mound while Michael Zeerip, Layden Byker and Cobe Huizenga all aided in relief.
Zeeland East improves to 5-3 on the year.
