Zeeland East traveled to Muskegon Reeths-Puffer on Monday for a non-conference game and won by a score of 8-6. Josh Fusco started on the mound for the Chix, pitching 3-innings in the no decision. Peyton Remick pitched four solid innings of relief to pick up the win. Remick scattered three hits, gave up one run and struck out four batters.
Offensively, Remick also added two hits and an RBI. Kainan Bayn and Josh Fusco each also chipped in with two hits in the game, while Fusco, Cobe Huizenga and Zach DeGraaf each had a double. Josh Fusco also added two RBI.
Zeeland East (19-8) travels to Hamilton on Tuesday for an OK-Green conference double-header.
