Zeeland East defeated Hamilton by a score of 4-1 in game one of the OK-Green doubleheader. Adam Berghorst pitched a complete game 1-hitter, striking out 6 and walking 2. The lone hit wasn’t allowed until the 7th inning and the only run was unearned.
Cobe Huizenga led the offense with three hits and two runs scored. Kainan Bayn had 2 RBI, while Josh Fusco added a double.
The victory was the 20th of the season for Zeeland East (20-8).
