In game one of a Saturday double-header at beautiful DeWitt Field at Cornerstone University, Zeeland East defeated Coopersville by a score of 12-2.
Adam Berghorst pitched 4 innings, allowing only one hit in the game and 2 unearned runs in the win. Michael Zeerip struck out the side in the 5th to end the game.
