Zeeland East lost to Jenison on Saturday in game one by a score of 9-7. Jenison took an early 9-0 lead after 5 innings before Zeeland east scored 7 unanswered runs to close the gap. The Chix had the winning run on base in the 7th before being shut down for the loss.
Cobe Huizenga, Kainan Bayn and Ethan Houghtaling each had two hits in the game and Caleb Hansen had 3RBI.
