Zeeland East lost to Byron Center in game 3 of the series by a score of 4-1. Zeeland East jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the first inning when Jeff Agar hit an RBI single to score Collin Arendsen, but the Chix couldn't get much else going the rest of the game. Jeff Agar finished with two of the three hits on the night for Zeeland East.
Adam Berghorst took the loss on the mound for Zeeland East, pitching 5 innings and scattering 4 hits, while striking out 5 and giving up 4 runs (1 earned).
