In a continued game from Tuesday, Zeeland East defeated Unity Christian by a score of 4-2. The game was scoreless through three innings from Tuesday, when the game resumed on Friday in the top of the 4th inning. Zeeland East got on the board first scoring 2 runs in the top of the 5th and adding two more in the 7th.
Adam Berghorst pitched the complete game no-hitter for Zeeland East. Berghorst struck out 13, walked 5 and allowed two runs in the 7th inning on a passed ball and error.
Offensively the Chix were led by Logan Brouwer who had 3 hits, an RBI and run scored. Isaac Willemstein added two hits and a run scored.
