Zeeland East traveled to Hopkins on Monday for a single, non-league game and defeated the Vikings by a score of 23-0 in three innings. Zeeland East tallied 20 hits in the game, 6 for extra bases. Sam Cochran, Jeff Agar, Ethan Houghtaling, Isaiah Buitenhuis and Keenan Faber all had two hits in the game. Cochran, Agar, Houghtaling, Faber, Tanner Tresemer and Trent Lynema each added doubles, while Houghtaling also had a triple.

Trevor Raade pitched the 3-inning complete game shutout. Raade did not allow a hit, walked two and struck out 8 batters in the victory.

Zeeland East travels to Wyoming for a conference double-header on Tuesday.
