Zeeland East traveled to Wyoming for an OK Green double header on Tuesday and won both games by scores of 6-0 and 10-0 (6 innings).
In game one Ethan Houghtaling led the Chix by pitching a complete game shutout. Houghtaling only allowed 2 hits in the game, walked 3, while striking out 20 batters.
Offensively Trevor Raade had two hits (1 double, 1 RBI), Sam Cochran chipped in with two stolen bases, one RBI and a run scored, while Brooks Huizenga scored two runs.
In game two, Sam Cochran continued the dominant pitching adding a complete game shutout of his own. Cochran allowed only 4 hits in the game while striking out 10 batters in 6 innings of work.
Offensively, Jeff Agar led the way with 4 hits, 3 runs scored and an RBI. Trevor Raade added 3 more hits including a double and 2 RBI.
Zeeland East (11-2, 7-1 OK Green) host Wyoing on Thursday to finish the 3-game series.
