Zeeland East and Zeeland West matched up for a huge OK Conference DH on Tuesday.  Both teams sitting at the top of the conference with an 8-1 record.  Zeeland West put the pressure on early in the game, taking a 2-0 lead through 3 innings.  Zeeland East cut the defeceit in half in the top of the 4th inning as Sam Cochran scored on a Jeff Agar single.  The score stayed 2-1 in favor of the Dux until the top of the 7th when Zeeland East's Ethan Houghtaling and Trevor Raade had back to back singles to tie the game at 2.  Tanner Tresemer then hit a triple and scored on a Brooks Huizenga RBI single to take the lead 3-2.  Huizenga eventually scored an insurance run to take the lead for good, 4-2.  

Ethan Houghtaling fired a complete game on the mound for the win.  In 7 innings of work, Houghtaling allowed 2 runs on 3 hits, while striking out 10.

In game 2 Zeeland East started where they left off in game 1, scoring 9 runs in the first 3 innings.  They would eventually win by a score of 12-5.  Sam Cochran pitched a complete game in the win, allowing only 2 earned runs on 6 hits and striking out 5.  Cochran also added two hits and scored 4 runs in the game.

Tanner Tresemer had 2 doubles in the ballgame while Luke Gruppen chipped in with 3 hits and 3 runs scored.  Jeff Agar had 4 hits including 2 doubles and a 3-run homerun and 7 RBI in the game.

Zeeland East 15-3 (10-1 OK Green) hosts Zeeland West on Thursday to finish the series.
