Zeeland East completed the three-game sweep over Muskegon on Thursday. The Chix tallied 20 runs in the game on 14 hits. Jeff Agar and Trevor Raade each had two hits in the game. Brooks Huizenga and Isaiah Buitenhuis each had double while Agar added a triple. Luke Gruppen also scored three runs for the Chix.
Caleb Schrotenboer pitched the complete game (4-innings) shutout. Schrotenboer allowed 1 hit while striking out 6.
Zeeland East improves to 20-4 on the season and continues to hold the lead at the top of the OK Green with a 14-1 conference record. Zeeland East will travel to play a double header at Jenison on Saturday.
