Zeeland East traveled to Holland on Tuesday for an OK Green conference double-header.  In game one the Chix defeated the Dutch by a score of 13-2 in five innings.

Caleb Schrotenboer pitched the complete game victory for Zeeland East.  Schrotenboer allowed 2 unearned runs, 3 hits, and struck out 7.  

Offensively, Sam Cochran, Trevor Raade and Trenton Lynema each had 2 hits in the game.  Jeff Agar added a triple and two runs scored, while Isaiah Buitenhuis also hit a 2RBI double.  

In game two Zeeland East defeated Holland by a score of 8-2.  Sam Cochran pitched a complete game, allowing 2 runs and scattering 5 hits, while striking out 6.

Offensively, Luke Gruppen, Trent Lynema and Ethan Houghtaling each had multiple hits, Gruppen and Houghtaling each added doubles.  Tanner Tresemer had an RBI single and Jeff Agar had an RBI double.

Zeeland East improves to 24-4 on the season and 16-1 in the OK Green.  Zeeland East will host Holland on Thursday to complete the series.  First pitch is scheduled for 3pm due to Graduation being held that evening.
