Zeeland East traveled to Davenport University to play at the beautiful Farmer's Insurance Athletic Complex on Friday night.  In the games, Zeeland East defeated East Kentwood by scores of 12-2 and 7-3.  The Chix continue to set new program records with each win, now bringing their overall record to 32-5 on the season.

In game 1 Trevor Raade recorded the win on the mound for Zeeland East.  Raade went 3 innings allowing 1 hit and no runs while striking out 4.  Aidan Fredricks finished the game for the Chix.

Offensively Zeeland East took advantage of 9 hits, 7 walks and 3 hit batters to break the game open.  Sam Cochran scored 3 runs for the Chix while Keenan Faber had 3 hits and Tanner Tresemer recorded 3 RBI.  Luke Gruppen added a triple.

In game two Keenan Faber recorded the win on the mound with two innings of relief for Zeeland East.  Trent Lynema started and went 5 innings allowing 3 runs and 3 hits while striking out 6.

Ethan Houghtaling and Luke Gruppen each recorded two hits.  Houghtaling and Keenan Faber each had triples in the game.

Zeeland East will host Hamilton on Tuesday, June 1 for their final regular season game of the year.
