Zeeland East hosted Wyoming for an OK Green double-header on Tuesday, winning by scores of 11-1 and 10-1.
Easton Remick recorded the win in game 1, pitching 3 innings, striking out 6 batters and allowing no runs on no hits. Lukas Assa pitched the final two innings, striking out two and allowing 1 run on 1 hit.
Offensively, the Chix were led by Austin Keur and Easton Remick who both had multiple hits in the game and each scored 2 runs. Trevor Raade also added a triple.
In game 2, Max Salas pitched a complete game, striking out 7 batters and allowing only one run on two hits in the game.
Offensively, Austin Keur had two hits, one double and two runs scored. Noah Ledford also added two hits, including a double and two runs scored. Tommy Farnum had an RBI double, while Jake Meyering added and RBI triple.
Zeeland East improves to 14-7 overall and 8-5 in the OK Green. They travel to Sullivan Field to make up a game against Grand Rapids Union on Wednesday.
