Zeeland East completed their OK Green regular season on Thursday with a sweep of Muskegon. The final score was 10-0 (5 innings). Jake Meyering recorded the win on the mound, pitching a complete game shutout. Meyering allowed 1 hit and struck out 12 batters in the game.
Offensively, Noah Ledford and Lukas Assa both had two hits including a triple each. They both also scored two runs and had an RBI. Dylan Kenyon chipped in with two hits, including a double, 2 RBI and 2 runs scored.
Zeeland East ends up 3rd in the OK Green with a 14-7 league record, behind Mona Shores (20-1) and Reeths Puffer (17-4). Overall, Zeeland East improves to 22-10-1 on the season.
