HUDSONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: 11
Zeeland East defeated Hudsonville on Friday night in a single game at Cornerstone University by a score of 14-11. Easton Remick recorded the win on the mound pitching 3 innings and allowing 4 (3 earned) runs on 5 hits and striking out 2. Connor Tietema pitched 2 and 2/3 innings allowing 3 runs on 3 hits while striking out 2 batters.
Offensively, the Chix tallied 13 hits in the game. Easton Remick, Max Salas, Charlie Lacny and Brenston Brown each had multiple hits in the game. Salas had a double and a triple while Lacny and Chris Seay both added RBI doubles.
Zeeland East improves to 12-0 on the season and hosts Holland for an OK Green conference double-header on Tuesday.
