Zeeland East hosted Wyoming on Tuesday for a conference double-header.  Zeeland East was victorious in both games by scores of 13-3 (5 innings) and 6-1 (6 innings due to darkness).  

In the first game, Zeeland East jumped out to a quick 8-0 lead after the first inning and then added 5 more runs in the 4th.  Gavin Drooger records the win on the mound.  Drooger went 3 perfect innings, striking out 5 of 9 batters faced.  Eli Nienhuis completed the final two innings allowing 3 runs on 4 hits while striking out 3 batters.

Offensively, Zeeland East tallied 11 hits and 4 doubles in the game.  Noah DeWitt led the charge with 3 hits, 3 stolen bases, 4 RBI and a run scored.  Austin Keur and Trevor Raade each added a pair of hits, including a double and multiple RBI.  Charlie Lacny helped get the scoring started with a huge 2RBI single in the first inning.

In game 2, Evan Owens hurled a complete game (6 innings) victory.  Owens struck out 12 batters in the game and allowed just one run on 2 hits while walking 2 batters.

Offensively, the Chix put up 10 hits in the game.  Trevor Raade led the way with 2 doubles and 2 RBI.  Chris Seay and JJ Salas each added a pair of hits in the game and RBI's.  

Zeeland East improves to 7-1 overall and 5-0 in the OK Green conference.  The Chix will travel to Wyoming on Thursday to complete the series.
