Zeeland East traveled to Whitehall on Saturday for tri-tournament with Whitehall and Bay City John Glenn. Zeeland East won both games, defeating Whitehall by a score of 8-1 and John Glenn by a score of 9-2.
In game one (ZE 8, Whitehall 1) Max Mulder recorded his first career varsity win, pitching 4 innings and allowing 1 unearned run on 2 hits while striking out 3. Gavin Drooger and Aidan Coutts finished off the game allowing zero runs and 3 hits.
Offensively, Austin Keur, JJ Salas and Brenston Brown all had two hits in the game. Keur, Brown and Trevor Raade all had a double.
