Zeeland East traveled to Whitehall on Saturday for tri-tournament with Whitehall and Bay City John Glenn.  Zeeland East won both games, defeating Whitehall by a score of 8-1 and John Glenn by a score of 9-2.

In game one (ZE 8, Whitehall 1) Max Mulder recorded his first career varsity win, pitching 4 innings and allowing 1 unearned run on 2 hits while striking out 3.  Gavin Drooger and Aidan Coutts finished off the game allowing zero runs and 3 hits.

Offensively, Austin Keur, JJ Salas and Brenston Brown all had two hits in the game.  Keur, Brown and Trevor Raade all had a double.

In game two (ZE 9, Bay City John Glenn 2) Trevor Raade recorded the win on the mound.  Raade pitched 5 innings allowing 4 hits and zero runs while striking out 8.  

Offensively, Austin Keur was on base 4 times scoring 2 runs with two hits including a double.  Charlie Lacny and Chris Seay each added a pair of hits and RBI's while Quincy Thome was 3 for 3.  Aidan Coutts also added a double.

Zeeland East improves to 10-1 on the season.
