Zeeland East wrapped up their regular season schedule on Wednesday with a double-header against number 1 ranked division 3 team, North Muskegon.  The Chix won both games by scores of 7-5 and 2-1.  

In game 1, Max Salas recorded the win on the mound for Zeeland East.  Evan Owens, Gavin Drooger, Koby Windeler and Noah DeWitt were all stellar on the mound for the Chix.  The staff combined to scatter 6 hits in the game and strike out 10.

Offensively, Zeeland East got a quick start with a lead off home run by Austin Keur.  The home run led to 6 first inning runs.  Austin Keur and Brenston Brown each had two hits in the game.  Charlie Lacny scored 2 runs.

In game 2, Trevor Raade, Max Mulder, Derek Baxter, Ryan Kuzma and Eli Nienhuis each pitched one inning.  The staff combined to allow just one run on 6 hits while striking out 10.  Nienhuis recorded the win in relief.  

Offensively, Zeeland East was able to scratch a run in the 3rd inning and a walk off run in the bottom of the 5th on a Max Mulder single to win the game.

Zeeland East finishes the regular season with a 32-6 record.  This is the 3rd most regular season wins in school history, following 35 in 2023 and 33 in 2021.
