GREENVILLE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 42
The Zeeland East boys recorded their first win of the season by beating Greenville 66-42 Friday evening. The Chix came out swinging putting up 12 first quarter points but then cooled off in the second quarter only scoring 7. Half time adjustments paid off as the Chix out scored Greenville 24-13 in the third and then 22-8 in the forth. The Chix were lead by sophomore Trip Riemersema with 17 (hitting 2 3s and going 5-5 from the line). Josh Fusco dropped 15 while hitting 3 3's. Ethan Houghtaling added 8 and Logan Brouwer added 6 in the first win of the season for the Chix. The Chix next game will be December 27th at 7:30. This is the first round of the Holidayt tournament. Allendale and Coldwater tip off at 6 in the opener of the tournament.
