The Chix traveled to Hudsonville Tuesday evening to take on defending Division 2 state champion, Unity Christian. The Chix fell to Unity 68-45. The loss drops the Chix record to 7-3 overall, 3-1 in OK Green conference play.
The Chix were led in scoring by Trip Riemersma, who scored 17 points and grabbed 6 boards. Nate Claerbaut added 8 points and Luke Gruppen chipped in with 7 points and 5 assists.
The Chix are off Friday night and are back in action Tuesday evening, January 28, as the Holland Christian Maroons, come to Zeeland. Tip-off is approx. 7 pm after the JV game is over.
