The Chix hosted Unity Christian in their final home game of the season.  The Chix jumped out to an early lead behind 5 Athey Dykehouse points.  Chix also played great defense and took a 17-6 after the first quarter.  The Crusaders slowly worked their way back into the game, chipping away at the Chix lead.  The Chix led by 10 points at halftime and 8 points after three quarters.  In the 4th quarter, the Chix led 52-51, with 7 seconds to play, but Brandon Claerbaut sunk two big free throws.  Unity had a chance to tie it, but their last-second shot missed, and the Chix held on to the 54-51 win.

The Chix were led in scoring by Brandon Claerbaut, who scored 20 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished out three assists,  Nathan Claerbaut scored 14 points, with eight rebounds and three blocked shots.  Athey Dykehouse scored seven key first-half points and grabbed five boards.

The Chix record is 11-5 overall, 7-3 in OK Green after the win.  The Chix head on the road for a non-conference game at Covenant Christian Friday night.  The boy's game tips about 7:30 after the girl's game is complete.
