The Chix were back in action Tuesday evening as they made the short trip to Zeeland West to play the Dux.  The game was hard-fought as both the Chix and Dux played spirited defense throughout the game. The Chix jumped out to a 14-4 lead and led 19-12 at halftime.  The Dux battled back, tying the score at 32 midway through the 4th quarter, but the Chix made key shots and got some defensive stop to pull out a 44-39 win over the Dux.

The Chix were led by Nate Claerbaut, who scored 13 points, grabbed11 rebounds, and added 4 assists.  Trip Riemersma scored 11 points and had 6 rebounds.  Brandon Claerbaut scored all of his 7 points in the second half, while Ethan Houghtaling had 5 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.  Luke Gruppen added 5 points and Adam Cassel chipped in with 3 points and 3 assists.

The Chix wrap up their 4-game road trip Thursday by traveling to play the Wyoming High Wolves.  The game time is 7 pm.
