The Chix hosted Holland High Dutch to begin the 2nd half of the OK Green conference schedule on Tuesday evening The Chix continue to play strong defense and used timely scoring to secure their 9th win of the season, defeating the Dutch 50-36.
Leading the way for Chix was Nathan Claerbaut, who recorded his first career varsity triple-double. Nate scored 14 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and blocked 10 shots. Brandon Claerbaut scored 11 points with 5 steals. Luke Gruppen added 10 points and dished out 6 assists. Trip Riemersma filled the stats sheet with 8 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.
The Chix travel to Muskegon Reeths-Puffer on Thursday in their next game. The game time is 7 pm.
