The Chix took to the road and traveled to Muskegon Reeths-Puffer on Thursday evening to play the Rockets.  The Chix jumped out to an early first-quarter lead 19-16 behind 11 points from Nate Claerbaut and 6 points from Trip Riemersma.  The Chix added to their lead by one in the second quarter and the Chix led 28-24 at halftime.  In the 2nd  half, the Chix pushed the lead up into double figures and held on to a 61-49 win.  The Chix dished out 19 assists and went 12 for 12 from the free-throw line.

Leading the Chix in scoring was Trip Riemersma, who scored 16 points and dished out 5 assists.  Trip knocked down 3 three-point shots in the game.  Nate Claerbaut battled foul trouble to record his 7th double-double on the season. scoring 15 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and blocking 3 shots.  Brandon Claerbaut added 11 points and 4 assists while Luke Gruppen scored 9 points and added 4 dimes.  Ethan Houghtaling contributed 8 points and grabbed 8 boards.  

The win improves the Chix overall record to 10-0, 9-0 in the OK Green Conference.  They are off until next Tuesday when they travel to Grand Rapids to play Union High School.  The game time is 7 pm.
