The Chix hosted a strong Forest Hills Eastern team on Saturday afternoon.  The Chix jumped out to a 10-2 lead and led 19-9 after the first quarter.  The Chix maintained their lead in the 2nd quarter and held a 32-22 advantage at halftime.  The Chix extended their lead by 5 points in the third quarter and knocked down a bunch of free throws in the fourth quarter to pull away to 70 - 40 win.

Trip Riemersma continues his strong play by pouring in 26 points on the afternoon.  Trip had a great game shooting the ball, going 9-14 from the field and 7-8 from the line.  Brandon Claerbaut added 16 points and had 3 steals.  Ethan Houghtaling filled up the stats sheets with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists.  Adam Cassel scored 7 points and Luke Gruppen scored 6 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.

The Chix are back in action Tuesday evening as Zeeland West visits the Coop.  The game time is set to start at 7 pm.
