The Zeeland East Chix rolled to their second consecutive win Friday night by defeating the Hurricanes of Detroit Frederick Douglas Academy by the score of 56-12.  The defensive continues to be impressive by scoring 4 defensive touchdowns. Seniors  Ryan Bellis and Boone Bonnema each recovered end zone fumbles, while Junior Josh Folkers returned a fumble 30 yards for a score. Senior Josh Fusco returned an interception 11 yards for another defensive TD.  He also rushed for another TD and was perfect by kicking 8 extra points. Also scoring touchdowns were Junior Tommy Zegunis on a 15 yard pass from Senior Gabe Taylor, Senior Alex Stockdale on a 96 yard kickoff return, and Freshman Cebastin Hunderman on a 66 yard pass from Sophmore Ethan Houghtaling.

Next week Friday, the Chix will travel to Grand Rapids to take on the Cougars of Catholic Central.  Game time will be at 7:00 pm.
