On a beautiful night for football the ZE Chix defeated the Hamilton Hawkeyes by the score of 48-7. Junior QB Ethan Houghtaling was 11-13 passing for 127 yards and 2TDs. He also added 2 rushing TDs to his total. Soph Cebastin Hunderman caught 7 passes for 60 yards and 1 TD. He also had 2 other TDs rushing. Junior Adam Cassel led the Chix rushing with 9 carries for 85 yards.  Senior Ryan Stockdale caught 2 passes for 56 yards and a TD.  Soph Paige Westra added 6 PATs for the Chix.

The defense was led by Soph Tag Bonnema (10 tackles), Senior Brendan Duneghy (8 tackles), and (8 tackles).  Senior Will Frerickson came up big for the D with a fumble recovery and a big interception. Senior JR Bouws blocked a punt to help the Chix cause.

The 3-1 Chix travel to Holland next week to take on the Maroons of Holland Christian.
