On a beautiful night for football the Zeeland East Chix lost to the rival Zeeland West by the score of 34-14. The Chix were led offensively by Junior QB Ethan Houghtaling who was 19-28 passing for 236 yards and a TD. Soph Cebastin Hunderman caught 9 passes for 107 yards and a TD. Senior Ryan Stockdale had 74 yards on 7 catches.  Leading the defense were Junior Adam Cassel (14 tackles), Soph Tag Bonnema (13 tackles), Stockdale (10 tackles), and Senior J R Bouws (10 tackles)

The 5-3 Chix will take on the Crusaders of Unity Christian next week at Zeeland Stadium. Game time will be 7:00.
