In the opening night of the 2019 playoffs the Zeeland East Chix lost to the Dux of Zeeland West by the score of 38-7. The offense was led by Junior QB Ethan Houghtaling who was 12- 30 passing for 124 yards and a TD. The leading receivers were Senior Ryan Stockdale who caught 5 passes for 48 yards and Soph Cebastin Hunderman who caught 3 passes for 43 yards and a TD. Leading the defense was Junior Adam Cassel with 13 tackles and Soph Tag Bonnema with 9 tackles.
