On a beautiful night for football the Chix lost their first game of the season to the Lakers of Spring Lake HS by the score of 56-21. The Chix were led offensively by SR Cebe Hunderman (6 carries for 54 yds, 3 passes caught for 50 yds), Soph Austin Keur (3-6 passing for 94 yds, 1 TD, 9 carries for 51 yds and another TD), and Soph Brady White (11 carries for 60 yds). Defensively the Chix were led by SR Ian Bannach  with 7 tackles and one INT. Sr Tag Bonnema and Sr Levi Boersma also chipped with 6 tackles a piece. Next the Chix will again be on the road when they take on the Dutch of Holland High School.
