The Chix of Zeeland East defeated the Red Hawks of Grand Rapids Union at historic Houseman Field by the score of 38-6. The Chix upped their record to 4-2. Special teams and the defense led the Chix tonight. A blocked punt led to a Levi Boersma return for a touchdown. Cebe Hunderman had a long punt return. Jayden Lopez recovered a fumble on another attempted punt. Ian Bannach had 2 pass interceptions and Ryder Reimink chipped in with another.
