BYRON CENTER HIGH SCHOOL 5, ZEELAND EAST HIGH SCHOOL 3

ZE lost a hard fought battle with defending champion Byron Center.  Down 4 matches to 0, Zeeland East rallied behind Quinn Custer's win at 4S.  Kevin McRae and Sean Bareman then followed by winning a tough third set to make it 4-2.  Davis Courtright avenged an earlier loss by winning the third set in his 3S match to bring the match to 4-3.  Cole Immink and Noah Scholten overcame an early deficit to bring the match to a decisive third set as well .  Byron Center was able to pull out the 3rd set and win both the 2D match and the overall match 5 matches to 3.
