ZE Boys Varsity Tennis at MSU Invitational

The young Zeeland East Tennis team traveled to Michigan State University to play in an 8 team invitational on the Spartans outdoor courts. The environment was amazing as play concluded under the lights and in the shadows of Spartan Stadium. Gabe Jarvis took runner up at 3rd Singles dropping an outstanding match against a top tier player from Grand Rapids Christian - 7-6(1), 6-4. Gabe concluded a great week of play going 5-1 with two medals. The event itself was dominated by more experienced and talented teams, but the Chix battled hard and got better, despite some tough tight losses.
