Zeeland East Wrestling competed at the Zeeland Gene Kraai Memorial Tournament capturing 2nd place out of 8 teams. Zeeland Defeated West Ottawa 45 to 24, Combined team 53 to 18, Hamilton 42 to 27, before falling to hart in the finals 26 to 51. The Chix's had five undefeated wrestlers on the day - Marty Landes (125), Carter Hinson (135), Noah Ledford (140), Joel Ledford (160), and Josh Folkers (215).
Along with a great team performance, Senior Joel Ledford earned his 100th career win during the day. The Chixs will be back on the mats at Middleville Wednesday, Dec 18th.
