Zeeland East Wrestling competed at the Pine River team tournament today. East opened the day defeating Mason County Central 45-33 then bested Traverse City West 46 to 21. East then fell to State ranked host Pine River 34 to 45 then State ranked Hart 18 to 58. East ended the day in a tie with Marquette losing on tie breaking criteria "F" 42-43.
Undefeated (5-0) wrestlers for the day for East were Marty Landes (125), Carter Hinson (135), Joel Ledford (160), and Josh Folkers (215).
East is on the mat again Wednesday at Grand Rapids Christian squaring off against Hamilton and Wyoming with varsity wrestling beginning at 6pm
