Zeeland East Wrestling competed at the Battle Creek Central Plus team tournament Saturday. East wrestling battling injury and illness finished 1-4 as a team on the day falling to Cedar Springs, Coopersville, Schoolcraft, and host Battle Creek Central. East defeated Pennfield. Undefeated (5-0) on the day for East was Gavin Drenten (112) and Marty Landes (152). East returns to the mats at home on Wednesday for the Battle for the Bird Belt against Zeeland West.
