The chix hosted Lowell, Zeeland West and holland in a four tournament. In the first game Zeeland East beat holland 11-3. Trenton Lynema and Drew Wyckoff combined to slow down the holland offense on the mound. They allowed seven hits while striking out seven and walking three. The offense was led by Keenan Faber with four runs, two hits, and two RBI’s.
In the championship game, the chix lost to the dux of Zeeland West 13-5. Isaiah Buitenhuis took the loss for the chix. The chix played hard and dealt with a cold windy day but came up short. The offense was led by buitenhuis with three hits and two RBI’s. Same Cochran also had two hits for the chix.
