The zeeland east chix swept the Byron center bulldogs in a double header Tuesday night 5-3 in eight innings and 10-1. The chix got great pitching performances from Isaiah Buitenhuis and Caleb Schrotenboer in game 1 and Keenan Faber in game 2. The pitching and defense kept the bulldog offense in check all night. The offense was good enough in game one and erupted in game two. The chix collected 14 hits in game 2 including many extra base hits. The chix now hold a 10-1 record and 5-0 in conference play.
